Currently, she serves as the Campus Pastor at The Way Christian Center in Berkeley and is enrolled in an M.Div program at Payne Theological University. Pastor Tanisha is a wife, a mother of three kids, and a new grandmama. She is excited to have just launched her new LLC called CollabHERation which works to provide brave, safe spaces and solidarity among black girls in school settings.
Porsche Veu aka The Poetic Activist is an artist, speaker, and educator from Oakland, Ca. With a passion for God, social justice, women & Black empowerment, and mental health, she aims to bridge the gap between faith & social justice, create brave atmospheres for uncomfortable conversations, and inspire others to find freedom in telling their own stories using poetry, motivational speaking, workshops, and music.
After sharing her spoken word poem on mental health “Caesar: A Poem About Suicide” in 2017, Porsche has dedicated much of her work to teaching the importance of vulnerability and helping others, especially Black girls and women, fight the shame that often keeps them from healing.
Her first, self-published poetry book 2 Kinds of Fire (2019) is a testament to her belief that vulnerability is a superpower, which drives her ultimate goal of challenging toxic, societal norms and helping people erase shame and tell their story.
